This Summer these are being presented from Monday January 6th to Friday January 10th, 2025.

The classes are open to all aged 10 or older and cost $190.00 for the full week (5 x 1.5hr classes).

Instructors are accredited by Yachting Australia.

Skill taught include:

• basic nautical skills
• points of sailing
• rigging a boat safely
• boat parts and their purpose
• safety check of boats
• clothing/equipment
• launching from and returning to the beach
• awareness of risks
• righting a capsized boat
• person overboard procedures
• rope work
• weather/sea conditions
• basic racing knowledge
